About me

My name is Matt. I grew up in Northern Virginia, outside of Washington, D.C., and moved to East Greenbush in 2021 with my wife and kids.

I have been working on houses for over 10 years. I grew up helping my father do all sorts of projects around the house - window installations, roof replacements, painting, electrical, plumbing. You name it, I did it. I've always done my own work. I can't think of doing it any other way.

I've always enjoyed working on my own, fixing things, building things. I decided to start doing it professionally about 4 years ago.

I work a full-time job, but True Home is my passion. Fixing and renovating homes may seem like a part-time job for me, and in most ways it is. However, when I'm hired for a project, I put as much care into it as I would if it were my full-time career (which maybe one day it will be).

In my spare time, I'm doing work for clients and spending time with my family and friends. I have three kids and a wife, all of whom make my life complete. We live in our home with our animal friends - two cats, a few dozen freshwater fish, chickens (they live in the backyard), and our service dog, Ziggy.
